A new entertainment-focused sports bar concept is headed to the Gulf Freeway corridor

Woody’s Hideaway is slated to open a new location in Webster in December 2026, expanding an “eatertainment” format that combines sports viewing with a broad lineup of games and private-group amenities. The venue is planned for 20801 Gulf Freeway in Webster, with an announced footprint of 12,500 square feet indoors and a 700-square-foot patio.

The Webster project is positioned as one of the concept’s largest locations to date and would become the third Woody’s Hideaway in the greater Houston area. Existing locations include a site in Houston’s Energy Corridor and a recently opened location in Conroe.

What is planned inside: large-format sports viewing and multiple activity zones

Plans for the Webster venue emphasize high-capacity audiovisual infrastructure and game-based entertainment intended to support both everyday traffic and group events. The main sports-viewing centerpiece is described as a 30-foot-wide video wall made by joining two 200-inch screens, supplemented by additional 100-inch televisions across the space.

Entertainment elements announced for the Webster opening include:

  • Multiple private golf simulator bays with additional gaming options
  • Private karaoke rooms
  • Pool tables
  • Dartboards, including steel-tip and interactive formats
  • Ping-pong and yard games

Food, beverage, and membership program

The company says the Webster site will include a full kitchen and a full bar. Menu items highlighted in the opening announcement include a Smash Burger, fresh-cut fries, and Philly eggrolls, alongside signature cocktails, wine, and beer.

Woody’s Hideaway also operates a membership offering called the Hideaway Social Club, which is described as including discounts, limited-edition merchandise, and access to special events. The company framed the program as a way to encourage repeat visits and deeper customer engagement.

How the Webster opening fits into a broader expansion pattern

The Webster site is part of a broader buildout across Texas by the parent company, Woody’s Brands, which operates multiple bar and restaurant concepts. In corporate materials, the company has described an overall portfolio spanning dozens of locations across Texas and Louisiana.

“We’ve loved being part of the Webster community through our Little Woodrow’s location, and it is the perfect place for us to continue growing with Woody’s Hideaway,” the company’s CEO said in the opening announcement.

With a planned opening date of December 2026, the project timeline leaves substantial lead time for permitting, buildout, staffing, and final operational details. As of the announcement, operating hours and hiring timelines for the Webster location had not been published.
