Infrastructure and Road Closure Advisory

Houston TranStar and the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) have issued several critical traffic alerts for Wednesday, March 11, 2026. Commuters should prepare for significant delays on major corridors due to ongoing maintenance and emergency repairs:

• IH-10 Katy Freeway: Two outside westbound lanes from IH-45 Gulf/Hogan Street to Studemont Street remain closed until further notice. This lane reduction is necessary for the I-10 White Oak Bayou elevation project and the Studemont Street Bridge demolition.
• Katy Area Emergency Closure: Southbound Mason Road and westbound Westheimer Parkway remain closed following the discovery of a large underground void at the intersection.
