The carnival is scheduled to operate March 2–22, 2026, at NRG Park, with the discounted items also valid during the 2026 World’s Championship Bar-B-Que Contest, set for Feb. 26–28. The rodeo’s advance-sale window for half-price packs and food cards runs through Saturday, Feb. 28 at midnight.

Scam warning focuses on unauthorized sellers and unverifiable tickets

Event organizers and local authorities have repeatedly warned that high-demand Houston rodeo events can attract fraudulent listings, including online posts offering tickets that cannot be verified or that may be duplicated and sold to multiple buyers. In those cases, a buyer may only discover the problem at entry when the ticket fails validation or has already been used.

The rodeo has stated it can only guarantee authenticity for carnival products purchased through its official channels and has cautioned that tickets obtained from unofficial platforms may be invalid and may leave buyers with no recourse at the gate.
