DHL Adds Four New Houston-Area ServicePoint Stores, Expanding International Shipping Access for Residents

New retail sites open in Houston, Missouri City and Katy
DHL has expanded its retail footprint in the Houston region with the opening of four new company-operated DHL Express ServicePoint locations, adding walk-in options for international and domestic express shipping. The new sites are located at 1007 Dairy Ashford Rd., Suite B (Houston), 800 Travis St., Suite 150 (downtown Houston), 2535 Cartwright Rd. (Missouri City), and 1315 W. Grand Parkway, Suite 111 (Katy).
The company describes the move as part of a broader effort to increase convenience for both individual shippers and small businesses across the metro area. DHL Express is best known in the U.S. market for time-definite international delivery, and its retail ServicePoint model is designed to make those services available without requiring a commercial account.
What customers can do at the new ServicePoints
Across the new locations, customers can ship packages with time- and day-definite delivery options to more than 220 destinations worldwide. The storefronts also provide packing supplies, including DHL-branded boxes, to support walk-in shipping needs.
DHL also highlights mobile tools as part of the customer experience. Users can manage deliveries through the company’s mobile app, including options to adjust delivery preferences and timing. These capabilities are intended to reduce missed deliveries and provide additional control for recipients as packages move through the network.
How the expansion fits Houston’s role in trade and logistics
Houston is a major U.S. logistics and trade hub, anchored by large-scale port activity, extensive air cargo operations, and a diverse base of internationally connected industries. In that context, the addition of new DHL-branded retail access points primarily addresses the “last-mile” and customer interface side of global shipping—making it easier for residents and local firms to initiate exports, send documents, and manage inbound deliveries without relying solely on scheduled pickups.
The new openings also broaden access beyond the urban core, with locations placed in the Energy Corridor area, downtown, and fast-growing suburbs to the southwest and west.
A larger network beyond company-owned storefronts
Alongside the four new company-operated outlets, DHL continues to operate a national network of ServicePoint partner locations in the United States. That partner model typically places DHL Express shipping services within independently run retail stores, extending access for drop-off and shipping services beyond DHL-branded counters.
